Tatiana and Matthew’s wedding took place on a warm and sunny autumn Saturday in Kitchener, Ontario. We began our morning relaxing with the girls while they prepared for the day ahead. While the the girls shared some drinks and laughs, the boys gathered to shine their shoes and get dressed. Everyone made their way over to Doon Wedding Chapel in preparation for the ceremony to come.
The Doon Wedding Chapel is a small chapel located in Doon’s upper heritage district. It was a beautiful, intimate ceremony, performed in front of family and close friends. After the ceremony we headed outside for some laughs, hugs, and loving tears.
Schneider’s Creek flows along the back banks of the chapel’s property creating a serene and picturesque location for photos. We explored the trails along the river with the wedding party, stopping to capture some images underneath the shade of the surrounding trees.
Later, we snuck away with Tatiana and Matthew to explore the trails even further. We enjoyed the quiet of the forrest and basked in the warmth of the afternoon summer sun. We stopped and captured some candid images, as Tatiana and Matthew took some time to stop and enjoy their first few moments of being newlyweds.
After our walk we made our way over to Concordia Club. Known locally for its Oktoberfest festivities, it is also frequently used for weddings and events. The reception was held in the grand hall with stunning high ceilings and chandeliers. The couple shared their first dance followed by a delicious specialty meal made with love in house.
After some loving speeches and mingling with guests, we all went to the dance floor and danced the night away. Tatiana and Matthew’s wedding was the perfect mix of friends, family, and charming architecture all wrapped into one. We were so happy to be part of this amazing day and have cherished the memories and relationships we have formed along the way.
